This hardcover 36-page book by Usborne covers the rhyming alphabet with wonderful animal friends dialoging as they vie to represent each letter of the alphabet. The Letters are presented using cute and quirky rhymes, often with alliteration. Some of the letters represent slightly different phonetic sounds where the author could fit them in, such as oh, ostrich, orange, and owl followed by Oooo! The pages are full of vibrant pictures with black writing in text bubbles. I think this could be an eye catcher for a youngster, providing a parent or teacher with many opportunities to practice language, as there are many things to see.
